The Platysma is also known as superficial muscle that can overlaps the sternocleidomastoid. This muscle helps athletic by it cover a portion of a chest, so atheletic need to keep their chest strong by streching. The origin of this muscle is Skin over lower neck and upper lateral chest and the insertion of this muscle is Inferior border of mandible and skin over lower face and angle of mouth.
