This muscle is a thin muscle attaching the hyoid bone to the sternum. The fuctions of this muscles is the depression of the hyoid bone. and the hyoid bone is located below the mandible or lower jaw, jaw and it's has U shape. The Origin of this muscle is superior lateral posterior aspect of manubrium and the Insertion of this muscles is Inferior border
of body of hyoid bone.
