Gastrocnemius is another types of muscles that our body depedns on. This is important muscles in our body.The origin of this muscle is medial head, medial condyle of femur and are just above condyle.the insertion of this muscle is posterior calcaneus via calcaneal tendon. the location of this muscle is the back portion of the lower leg, being one of the two major muscles that make up the calf. the other major calf muscle, the soleus muscle, is a flat that lies underneath the gastrocnemius.
